Got my Masters! Convocation @ IIT-I

Finally a Post-Graduate : We hustle for this day. We spent nights working on assignments, preparing for semester exams, working on projects, debugging, making sure in the process we are able to further our learning and its application.

During the course of these 2 years pursuing my M.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Indore. I was made privy to the brand ‘IIT’ and why it holds such an enormous reputation, prestige and popularity world over.

Getting into the hallowed portals of IIT itself was a journey for me – documented in a book for that matter.

Preparing for GATE one of the toughest exams after leaving my job with only a single goal in my mind taught me commitment, dedication and further bolstered my attitude of going all-in. It wasn’t easy. But it was worth it in the end.

I am thankful to my thesis supervisor Dr. Prabhat Kumar Upadhyay for his mentorship. His guidance through the projects and course work. His valuable feedback on what i was missing and what i can improve upon. Thank you sir!

Immensely grateful to my parents for beleiving in me. My late mentor Rajeev who would have been especially proud on this day. As an honor to his memory i shall dedicate this major milestone to him.

Thesis Review by the committee members.

“In the end, the most important thing is to be true to yourself and those you love and work hard. I mean, work like there’s no tomorrow. Train. Strive. I mean, really train and cultivate your talent to the highest degree. Be the best at what you do. Get to know more about your field than anybody alive. Use the tools of your trade, if it’s books or a floor to dance on or a body of water to swim in. Whatever it is, it’s yours.”
